Google Play – Android Apps Promotion | Premium Apps $0.49


Google rebranded Android Market to Google Play yesterday to incorporate more than just Apps and Games under one umbrella name of Google Play. Google wants to leverage the popularity of Android Apps and Games and use it to promote other products such as Google Music and Google Books as well. You can read more about the announcement here.

  • Click on the App/Game you want to purchase.
  • You can pay using Google Wallet.
  • If you are new to Google Wallet, you will need to set up your account. Credit Card works great but if you don’t have one you can try using your debit card. Axis bank’s debit card works well, while ICICI’s debit card doesn’t work, so you will have to check.
  • Enjoy your App.

      I guess you are asking about prepaid kind of thing. It is not possible with Google Wallet, not in our wallet atleast. What you can do is try and use Debit card(if you have). Google Wallet works with some Indian Debit Cards(like Axis), it will deduct money when an app is purchased.
